Scubi is operated in Georgia (country) and is available to users in Georgia and the United States.

• Profile picture (if signing in via Google)

b. Dog Profile Information

• Dog name, breed, age, weight

• Health records (vaccinations, medications, appointments)

c. Location Data

With your permission, we collect approximate location data (city-level or nearby radius) only while the App is actively in use.

We do not:

• Track your location in the background
• Continuously monitor your movements

d. Usage Data

• Anonymous analytics (feature usage, performance, crashes)

e. Push Notification Token

• Device token used to send notifications

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your data under the following legal bases:

• Contractual necessity — to provide core app features (accounts, playdates, SOS alerts)
• Consent — for location data and push notifications
• Legitimate interests — to improve app performance, security, and user experience

You may withdraw consent at any time via your device settings.

• Provide and maintain app functionality
• Match you with nearby dog owners
• Enable playdate and social features

6. Social Features & Visibility

Because Scubi is a social app:

• Your name, dog profile, and approximate location may be visible to other users
• SOS alerts you create are shared with nearby users

We do not display precise real-time location to other users.

You should only share information you are comfortable making visible to others.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We may share data with:

a. Service Providers

• Supabase — database, storage, authentication
• Resend — transactional email delivery

These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations.

b. Legal Requirements

We may disclose data if required to:

• Comply with legal obligations
• Protect user safety or rights
• Prevent fraud or abuse

8. Data Retention

We retain your data:

• While your account is active
• Up to 30 days after account deletion
